Frequently asked
Can I change where an already-shared link points?
Yes, at any time — it is the whole point. The short address never changes; what it points at can.
Do my QR codes stay valid?
A Klyk QR encodes your short address, not the final destination. Once printed it stays valid even if the destination changes ten times.
Do you set cookies?
Not on your visitors: someone who follows your link receives no cookie, and nothing is stored on their device. The site itself sets two, for you only: your session while you are signed in, and a language cookie if you switch languages.
What happens to my visitors' IP addresses?
It is used once, at click time: to derive a country, and to compute the salted fingerprint that lets unique visitors be counted. The fingerprint is kept — that is what makes the count possible — but the address itself is never written to the database.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. Add go.yourbrand.com, prove ownership with a DNS record, and your links live there.
How long do you keep analytics?
Daily totals are kept for good. The click-by-click detail — the one that lets you cross two criteria — is kept for 90 days, and the interface says so when a question reaches past that window.
Can I export my data?
Yes, as CSV, over the period on screen. Every dimension is in it, not only the ones the dashboard shows.
What if I leave?
Your links are yours. Export your stats, and if your links are on your own domain, point them wherever you like without breaking what is already printed.
